Chengdu /MT.Leshan MT.E’mei/Zhangjaijie/Beijing 10 Days

Arrive Chengdu airport,Centrally located in the Western Sichuan Plain, Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province, is renowned for its fertile land and agricultural wealth which have earned the city the nickname “Storehouse of Heaven”. Upon Arrival we shall check in hotel and visit Wuhou Temple in the afternoon.

In the morning ,visit Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding,then we proceed to Leshan, where the Leshan giant Buddha is located. It is carved out of a solid rock on the cliff of Qixia Peak of Mt. Linyuan, looking down on the junction of three rivers. Continue your journey to Mt. E’mei by bus. In ancient times Mt. E’mei has been described as “Beauty Under Heaven”. Temples were built as early as the Eastern Han Dynasty and Buddhism was introduced to the mountain during the Jin Dynasty. In the Ming, Qing Dynasties there were more than 150 temples.

After breakfast, enjoy a cruise on Lake Akan. (Lake Akan will be replaced with Ice Fishing or Ainu folk dance from January to
April, November and December). Visit the hometown of Chlorella and enjoy the beautiful scenery in every season. Afterwards, visit the “Kushiro City Red-crowned Crane Natural Park” . Then, go to Tokachi River for tonight’s hot spring hotel. This evening, taste exquisite Japanese cuisine made from Hokkaido beef and seasonal vegetables grown from farms.

We are returning to Chengdu in the morning. Visit Dufu Thatched Cottage, the former residence of Dufu, one of the most famous poets in Tang Dynasty & Tonight, enjoy Sichuan dinner and Sichuan Opera.

Morning. visit Ancestral Temple of Wuhou, the temple for Zhuge Liang, a military genius in Three Kingdoms, after lunch fly to Zhangjiajie.

Lying on the northwest of Hunan, Zhangjiajie is recognized as “a rare charming belle in the boudoir” by the famous Chinese painter Wu Guanzhong. Zhangjiajie is the first National Forest Park in China featured by its unique hills, queer ridges and peaks, tranquil valleys, thrilling streams and abundant plant and animal resources. Today we are going to Huangshi (Yellow Stone) Village. It is the most important sightseeing spot in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. We shall visit the Baofeng Lake. It is a masterpiece made by the power of nature and human, which consists of Baofeng Lake, Baofeng Waterfall, One Line Gorge and Hawk Nest Village. With the development of tourism in Zhangjiajie, Baofeng Lake became famous for beautiful scenery in the 1990’s.

A whole day tour to Mt. Tianzi. It has been given a sobriquet “King of Hoodoos”, which is characterisitic of the area to have high and dense hoodoos. We also visit the Huanglong Monastery, built in the Ming Dynasty. The temple is surrounded by heavy forests and hundreds of small lakes. It surely is a nice place for tourists.
