Departing from Berlin at 7:30 in the morning, passing through Rostock to Copenhagen, the capital of fairytale. Then take the DFDS cruise to Oslo and overnight in cruise.
Head to the capital of Norway, Oslo. Visit one of Oslo’s landmarks 【Vigelandsparken】. The Vigelandsparken is one of Norway’s most popular tourist attractions. The unique sculpture park is Gustav Vigeland’s lifework with more than 200 sculptures in bronze, granite and wrought iron. Then go to the 【Oslo Opera House】. This new building in the very epicentre of the capital of Norway feels like the complete opposite of the usual “Please don’t touch” culture tourists are often met with worldwide. Tourists are welcomed to walk on the roof. Overnight at Hemsedal or a city nearby.
Take the 【Flåm Train】 (optional expense) to experience one of the world’s most beautiful train journey, from Flåm to Myrdal, for about 2 hours. The Flåm Railway is considered to be one of Norway’s most important and spectacular tourist attractions. Every year, this amazing railway line attracts visitors from around the world and in 2014 Lonely Planet named it the world’s most beautiful train journey. After returning to the town of Flåm, leave for Gudvangen, where you can take a cruise (optional expense) around 1.5h to enjoy the world’s deepest and longest fjord 【Sognefjorden】, which is ranked first in the world’s best-preserved and most worthwhile fjord by the National Geographic and Travel Magazine. Stay in a hotel in or around Voss in the evening.
Going to the ancient city 【Bergen】, it is considered as the most beautiful city in Norway. Not only the history, but also the theater, music, dance, etc that attract people from all over the world. It is the capital of European culture and the largest and most beautiful harbor on the west coast. There is also the 【Hardangerfjord】 and the 【Norheimsund】 located in the mountains, followed by the 【Hardanger Plateau Nature Centre】 and 【Eidfjordvatnet】. Stay overnight in the hotel in or near Geilo.
Today we Return to the capital of Norway, Oslo, to enjoy the magnificent 【Oslo City Hall】 and the beautiful relief murals in the hall. Experience the rich historical monuments of Norway in the 19th century in the 【Oslo Palace】. Overlooks the whole city center of Oslo in 【the Akershus Festning】 on the seafront. Stay overnight in Oslo or its surrounding hotels.
After breakfast, depart for Gothenburg, Sweden’s beautiful harbour city. Enjoy the 【Masthugget Church】 on the Masthugget hills. Then head to the Götaplatsen square, the cultural center of Gothenburg, where there will always be some grand cultural events. The 【Poseidon Statues】 made by Swedish sculptor Millers stands in the fountain. Stay overnight in Malmo or its surroundings hotel
Back to Copenhagen to enjoy the scenery of the Nordic landscape. Admire “The Little Mermaid” statue in the 【Wharf Park】. She is quiet and elegant, but with a touch of sadness in the eyes. Next, visit the main palace of the Danish royal family, the classical architecture 【Amalienborg Slot】 and the colorful 【Newport】. Then return to Berlin and the journey ends.
